A bit more detail on the plan for Aug 23, 24, 25:

Still plan to leave Gold’s Gym Parking lot at 8:30am on Friday. Plan to stop in Gunnison for coffee & bathrooms, probably at McDonald’s, Plan to get lunch in Buena Vista before driving Weston Pass.

Plan to leave the Hand Hotel in Fairplay at 8:30am on Saturday. Bring the usual snacks, water, full tank of gas but expect to find a place for lunch in the unincorporated town of Jefferson after driving Georgia Pass. Return to Fairplay by way of Boreas Pass, passing thru part of Breckenridge.

Plan to leave Hand Hotel about 8:30am on Sunday. West of Poncha Springs we plan to turn right up & over Taylor Mountain, returning to US 50 still east of Monarch Pass.
Again, bring the usuals but expect to stop for lunch along the way, probably on top of Monarch Pass.
