Currently there is no particular order for the Days 1-3. Come for a day or two, or the whole weekend!

Day 1 – Leaving from the intersection of Highways 141 & 90 at 9:00 am
GG6 Road to Morning Star Mine, stopping at two small petroglyphs sites. Visit the Rimrock mining area – there are some great views of the Dolores WSA and the La Sal Mountains in this area. Check out the views from the top of Wedding Bell Mountain. Drive most of the roads described in the “Bull Canyon Monogram Mesa” brochure.

Day 2 – Leaving from the intersection of Highways 141 & 90 at 9:00 am
Try to find the petroglyphs described in the “Paradox Valley Petroglyph Tour” brochure, and explore the area and roads described in the “Long Park Mine Tour” brochure.

Visit the Cashin Copper Mine. Drive into Utah and then back into Montrose County to explore some of the roads and mining areas southwest of the Cashin Copper Mine.

Day 4 (Monday) – Leaving from the Ballpark Campground at 9:00 am
Check out the confluence of the San Miguel and Dolores Rivers (Y11 Road). Find the Horse Collar and Mailman’s Ladder sites off of Highway 141.
