{"id":24,"date":"2014-02-23T20:57:47","date_gmt":"2014-02-24T03:57:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ws4w.com\/?page_id=24"},"modified":"2026-07-08T11:11:30","modified_gmt":"2026-07-08T17:11:30","slug":"membership","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ws4w.com\/?page_id=24","title":{"rendered":"Membership"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;The<strong> WESTERN SLOPE 4 WHEELERS CLUB<\/strong> \u2026 is a group of family oriented&nbsp;off-road enthusiasts who enjoy four-wheeling and who work to protect four-wheeling rights on our public lands.&nbsp; The club was founded in February 1998.&nbsp; Club adventures range from mild to extreme.&nbsp; Runs include day trips on trails in the Montrose area, the San Juan Mountains, and elsewhere.&nbsp; Other club gatherings include bowling, participation in parades, weekend trips outside the Montrose region, and week-long cross-country trips.&nbsp; Weekend and week-long trips often include camping. The club is very active and you will find members making trail runs on any given day of the week. The club currently has adopted over 19 trails in the San Juan\u2019s and the Uncompahgre area. These trails see regular maintenance by club members and is one of the many ways the club provides support in keeping these trails open for all to use.
