Lester and Ruth plan to run Owl Creek Pass this Wednesday, Oct. 8th. If you want to join us, meet at South City Market at 9am with a full tank of gas, lunch, snacks, water, your camera, etc. Rated a 1; no rain expected until Thursday.
Lester and I expect to spend 3 days in Dec. exploring this state park. Plan to arrive Monday, Dec 8th, Jeep rides on the 9th, 10th and 11th. Leave to come home Friday, Dec 12th. Will be staying at Palm Canyon Hotel and RV Resort in Borrego Springs. Meet/Depart there at 8:30 am California Standard Time.
Disclosure – we have never been here before; are not familiar with any of the trails; will plan to run easy to easy / moderate trails but have not decided on which ones yet.

Lester and Ruth S. plan to explore trails in the Apache Junction AZ area in mid-March. Plan to arrive in Apache Junction on the 15th and do trail rides on March 16th, 17th and 18th.
Trails include Apache Trail (rated easy); Walnut Canyon (rated moderate); Montana Mountain (rated easy); and possibly Telegraph Canyon (rated 5 on a scale of 10).
We plan to stay at the Best Western in Apache Junction and rides will leave from their parking lot each morning at 9:00am.

Lester and I will lead a trail ride Saturday morning, the 9th. Plan to meet at the Holiday Inn parking lot in Green River Ut at 9am.
We will drive Wickiup Loop, west of Green River, off the interstate. As the name suggests, this is a loop trail around a pyramid shaped summit in the center of the loop. Leaving at 9am, we plan to be back in Green River in time for lunch and then the return home.

Friday May 15th, meet at the Maverick station in Montrose – 9:30am . Plan to run Smith Mt. Jeep Road, just to get out in the jeep. Have lunch, water and a full tank of gas. Hope to see you there.
Plan to drive Kane Creek Canyon as far as Hamburger Hill as An In & Out.
Now rated easy as it was bulldozed or bladed recently.
Meet at Canyonlands Best Western, 16 S Main St, Moab, at 8:30am Sunday June 7.

Leave from Down Town City Market 9am, air Down at the Training/Staging Area.
Montrose to Nucla is easy. 2 or 3 stops at overlooks. Lunch in Nucla City Park.
Nucla to Hiway 141 was Difficulty 4 the last time we drove it. Some great overlooks worth a picture.
