Assuming the weather cooperates, Lester and Ruth will lead a trip over Cinnamon Pass and on into Lake City with a side trip up Wager Gulch to Carson Ghost Town. Cinnamon Pass is rated moderate (3) with Wager Gulch being more difficult, maybe a 4. This will be a long day so be sure to bring lunch, snacks, plenty of water and a full tank of gas. Our route home from Lake City will depend on time, weather and how everyone is feeling. We will use CB radios for communication.

It has been some time since James ran this trail so he would like experienced participate along. Please contact him if you are experienced on Poughkeepsie and plan to attend. Poughkeepsie Gulch is rated a 6.
Matt and Lisa G. will lead Roubideau Jeep Road Work Day
September 25th, departing downtown City Market at 8:30am. Bring gloves and lopping shears if possible. A bow saw might be useful. If we’re lucky the loggers and ranchers will have cleared most trail obstructions and we’ll only have to trim encroaching brush. If we have a large group and people who know the trail, we might split into two groups and work in from each entrance.
Have a full tank of gas, bring lunch, water and snacks. Trail is probably rated a “3”.

Leaders will provide hot dogs and brats so also bring chips or something else to share. If hot dogs / brats aren’t your lunch of choice, feel free to also bring your own lunch. Trail is rated a 1 or 2.
Contact Linnea if you need to meet the group elsewhere along the proposed route out of Delta.
