WS4W Club Calendar
Club dinner this month will be at Rib City Grill, April 26th at 6pm.
Eddie and Linnea will lead our annual Peach Valley Clean Up on Wave and Eagle trails followed by club picnic at the end of Chuckar Trail. Meeting time and location to be determined.

The club meets the first Tuesday of every month unless displaced by a holiday.
Meet at Downtown City Market at 9am. This will be a preseason WALK of some of the hard core trails to check winch points and pick up trash. Ferris M. to lead.
Lester and Ruth will lead 3 days of jeep rides in the San Rafael Swell area, near Green River UT. Trail rides will be May 11, 12 and 13. There is the possibility of a short ride going over on the 10th and returning on the 14th, if there is any interest. Green River will be headquarters and has camping, motels, restaurants, gas and a grocery store. All trail rides will leave from the Green River Comfort Inn at 8:30am. If you are staying somewhere outside of Green River, please contact them to make arrangements to meet.
Join the club for the revival of a summer time event. Meet at the A&W, on the north side of town, at 7pm on May 16th for the opportunity to show off your vehicle and mingle with other club members.
Meet at Downtown City Market at 9am to run Scrath-N-Dent. This trail is rated a “5”. Mike P. to lead.
Meet at Downtown City Market at 9am to run Smith Mountain Jeep Road, one of our adopted trails. Contact Lester S. with any questions. Please bring trash bags, as well as a full tank of gas, lunch, water and snacks.
There will be NO Club Dinner in May due to Memorial Day Weekend. Please attend the Meet & Greet on May 16th instead.
Matt and Lisa G. will lead 3 days of trail rides in the West End of Montrose County. Will be mostly on county roads to include looking for mines and rock art. Camping available at Uravan Ball Park. All facilities available in Nucla / Naturita – gas, motel, grocery, etc.
Currently there is no particular order for the Days 1-3. Come for a day or two, or the whole weekend!
Day 1 – Leaving from the intersection of Highways 141 & 90 at 9:00 am
GG6 Road to Morning Star Mine, stopping at two small petroglyphs sites. Visit the Rimrock mining area – there are some great views of the Dolores WSA and the La Sal Mountains in this area. Check out the views from the top of Wedding Bell Mountain. Drive most of the roads described in the “Bull Canyon Monogram Mesa” brochure.
Day 2 – Leaving from the intersection of Highways 141 & 90 at 9:00 am
Try to find the petroglyphs described in the “Paradox Valley Petroglyph Tour” brochure, and explore the area and roads described in the “Long Park Mine Tour” brochure.
Day 3 – Leaving from the intersection of Highways 141 & 90 at 9:00 am
Visit the Cashin Copper Mine. Drive into Utah and then back into Montrose County to explore some of the roads and mining areas southwest of the Cashin Copper Mine.
Day 4 (Monday) – Leaving from the Ballpark Campground at 9:00 am
Check out the confluence of the San Miguel and Dolores Rivers (Y11 Road). Find the Horse Collar and Mailman’s Ladder sites off of Highway 141.
