WS4W Club Calendar
The Red Rock 4-Wheelers CJ only run for 2024 will be held Saturday, October 19th. They will tentatively be running Chicken Corners but that may change.

Arrive in Death Valley on Monday, Jan. 20th. Jeep trips will be the 21st, 22nd and 23rd of Jan. Plan to depart on Friday the 24th.
Exact trails are yet to be determined. Ratings will vary but should all be easy to moderate. There are a few trails which are closed due to flooding so that will affect what we do.
Jeep rides will leave from the parking area at the gas station just beyond The Ranch complex each morning at 9am. Plan to be out all day so bring lunch, snacks, water and have a full tank of gas. The Ranch complex does have a small grocery store and restaurants with camping nearby.

After Easter Jeep Safari:
We expect to lead trails in the area of Kanab, UT on April 22, 23, & 24, 2025.
Trips are planned to leave from the Comfort Suites, 150 West Center St. in Kanab at 8:30am.
Trails are yet to be determined and will be easy to moderate.
Bring the usual water, snacks, lunch & full tank of gas.
There are campgrounds available in the area.
There is a small chance we may share a Tuesday trail ride with the St George Jeepers Group.

Lisbon Valley area-Mine over matter, rated a 3
Escalante Canyon and return on Dry Mesa Jeep Road. Meet at Delta City Market at 9AM with a full tank of gas, lunch, snacks and water. Escalante Canyon is rated a 2/3 and Dry Mesa is rated a 4.

Wednesday, July 30th, Lester and Ruth will lead a ride up and over Cinnamon Pass and on into Lake City. We plan a stop at the Lake City Bakery and will return over the Alpine Plateau (not the Alpine Loop). Cinnamon Pass is rated a 3/4 (a moderate trail).
If interested, plan to meet at Triangle Gas in Silverton ( on US 550 as you come into Silverton) at 9:30am on July 30th. Have all the usuals and a full tank of gas. We will plan to use WS4W,channel 5 on the GMRS radios.
Wednesday, August 6th, Lester and Ruth will lead a run up Corkscrew Pass, over Hurricane and California Passes and drop down into Animas Forks Ghost Town. Probably have lunch there.
Return trip is yet to be determined – could turn around and do it in reverse; could just go on into Silverton and then home on pavement; could go north to Engineer and then turn left back to 550; could go on to Cinnamon Pass and then to Silverton. Will depend on weather, timing and what the group decides.
In any event, meet at Ironton Park (off of 550 south of Ouray) at 9:30am with a full tank of gas, lunch, water, snacks, etc. Trails are all rated easy, maybe some moderate sections.

We know it is short notice but we are going looking for some fall color Friday, the 19th. Plan to leave Delta City Market at 9am with lunch, snacks, water and a full tank of gas. Plan to do Keebler and Ohio passes.

Lester and I will entertaining guests from LA on the Sept 20th. We plan to leave South City Market at 8:30am; meet our friends in Ouray about 9:15am and then explore the Red Mountain Mining District (north and south sections). This trail is rated as easy and we plan to travel it leisurely, with stops at all the mines and for views and pictures. After the trail ride, we will continue into Silverton for lunch at a restaurant yet to be determined. After lunch we will take them out to Animas Forks; then return to Silverton and on to Ouray to retrieve their vehicle.
